I’ve always loved drawing and plunged into lessons with inspirational teachers once I’d retired. I’ve experimented with and been enchanted by pastels, watercolours, oils and now acrylics as well as printing, papercut and digital media. I produce illustrated maps from my own pen and wash drawings. I’m enthralled by performers and love drawing people. As a major bonus, taking up the paintbrush and pencil has helped me enormously in appreciating the work of others
